When I was in elementary school, I basically only ate sourdough toast…and lots of it. One year, my best friend even gave me a loaf of freshly baked sourdough bread as a joke for my birthday! As I learned that eating sourdough bread on a daily basis is not the best thing for my health or waistline, my staple “meal” was slowly replaced.

I recently found Bread Srsly, a gluten-free sourdough bread, at Erewhon and had to try it (you might’ve seen me post about it on Instagram!).  What first sold me on Bread Srsly was that there are less than 10 ingredients, all of which are whole foods and non-GMO. Although I am not fully gluten-free, I do opt for gluten-free options when made from whole, real ingredients.

I first tried this bread when I brought it to a family dinner party so I could be sure I had my own healthy option to eat.  Everyone ended up eating my bread instead of the regular bread served, and that’s when I knew I found a winner!  Usually, gluten-free bread is dense, chewy, has a ton of suspect ingredients, and just does not compare to its wheat-filled version. That is not the case here! Even the pickiest eaters at the dinner party would agree that Bread Srsly easily rivals any good loaf of sourdough bread out there!
